There are 8 Legendary Repkits in Borderlands 4, and we’ve tried them all to determine which of them is the best overall. Regardless of our preference, you can check out every Legendary Repkit in Borderlands 4 below to see how they behave, what their strengths are, and where you can get them for yourself. The locations of each of the Repkits have been provided below, along with useful information that you can use to determine whether you want it for your build, or to simply discard it in the Bank or as some extra cash from a Vending Machine.
Pacemaker
How to Get Pacemaker in Borderlands 4
- How to Get: Farmed from Horace, located at Horace’s Oversight in Hungering Plain, the Fadefields. Available after the Main Mission “Down and Outbound”.
- Pulsometer – Passively regenerates Health over time, increasing in Rate when your Health is low.
The Pacemaker has an interesting passive buff in which Health will constantly regenerate over time, even when the Repkit has not been used. This regeneration is stronger based on how low your Health is, but it’s still not that great. The Pacemaker won’t save you from big bursts of damage, as the healing is limited, and if you’re weak enough to see an impact from its increased Healing Rate, then the chances are that you’re going to be one-shot anyway.
Defibrillator
How to Get Defibrillator in Borderlands 4
- How to Get: Farmed from the Core Observer, located at the “Blacklime Bunker” Order Bunker in The Howl, the Fadefields.
- Cardiac Shock – When Health goes below 20%, there is a 50% chance to replenish a Repkit Charge.
Running out of a Repkit Charge in the heat of battle is one of the main causes of death, outside of enemies that can deal an instant surge of lethal damage, that is. With the Defibrillator, players will have a 50% chance to get a Repkit Charge when their health is below 20%, and that’s an odd worth taking. However, since players are already at 20% Health or lower, the chances are that it might already be over, but don’t give up, use this Repkit, and hope that you can Heal the pain away.
Adrenaline Pump
How to Get Adrenaline Pump in Borderlands 4
- How to Get: Farmed from Primordial Guardian Radix, located at the Arch of Radix, Grindstone of the Worthy, Carcadia Burn’s Vault that requires all 3 Vault Key Fragments.
- Blood Rush – Automatically restores Health on Second Wind.
Adrenaline Pump has a unique effect in which you will automatically restore Health on Second Wind. This means that you won’t be pulled back into the fight just to be put down again, as you’ll have more than enough health to survive the next attack. However, this is a Repkit with not many advantages, as it basically requires you to go down in advance to enter Fight For Your Life, and then get Second Wind by killing an enemy. It’s a tad pointless and requires players to almost die, but it’s a decent enough backup plan if you have nothing better.
Blood Analyser
How to Get Blood Analyser in Borderlands 4
- How to Get: Farmed from The Oppressor, located at The Killing Floors, Dissected Plateau, the Fadefields. Available after the Main Mission “A Lot to Process”.
- Immunity Shot – On use, grants Immunity to the last Elemental Damage Taken for 7s.
It’s always nice to be healed for when your Shields fail you, but what of a Repkit that focuses more on becoming temporarily invincible? With the Blood Analyser, players can inject themselves with a Repkit that grants Immunity for 7 seconds, but only against the Elemental Damage Type that they were last afflicted by. This means that if players are fighting a boss that relies rather strongly on one Elemental Damage Type, then players can pop the Repkit to ignore their attacks and wipe them out.
AF1000
How to Get AF1000 in Borderlands 4
- How to Get: Farmed from Rocken Roller, located in the “Trinket Crevass” Auger Mine, Ruined Sumplands, Carcadia Burn.
- Time Dilation – The Repkit’s Duration is increased by +100%, and its Cooldown Duration is decreased by -50%
The AF1000 is a buffed-up Repkit that allows players to increase their healing duration by +100%, that’s basically double the effectiveness of a standard Repkit, which is why it can come in handy in some situations where health is necessary. The Cooldown is also decreased by 50%, meaning players can get their Repkit up faster, so it’s essentially a decent enough Repkit that allows players to not only experience great Health Regen, but also one that can be used far quicker than others.
Kill Spring
How to Get Kill Spring in Borderlands 4
- How to Get: Farmed from Axemaul, located in “The Toil of Spoiling Vis” Auger Mine, Carcadia District, Dominion.
- Blood Siphon – On kill, converts 100% of any excess Damage into Healing Orbs that seek out nearby allies.
Kill Spring is a great Repkit for players who know that they bring the boom. When used, excess damage provided from weapons and Action Skills will become Healing Orbs that seek out you and your allies, essentially providing you with a healing turret that will follow you around like a companion. Being able to deal absurd damage and convert all of the leftovers into Healing Orbs basically means you can be temporarily unkillable.
Triple Bypass
How to Get Mega Triple Bypass in Borderlands 4
- How to Get: Farmed from The Backhive, located in “The Claim” Auger Mine, Dissected Plateau, the Fadefields.
- Heart Pump – This Repkit has 3 Charges, and has a 30% chance to replenish a Charge on kill.
Mega Triple Bypass, on its own, is pretty great, as it comes with a near-constant source of healing. Not only will players have 3 Charges, but these charges can replenish very quickly since each kill has a 30% Chance to bring a Charge back. That’s basically a fresh Repkit Charge every 3rd kill! However, the Triple Bypass isn’t just in high demand for its absurd amount of Charges, but for what it can drop with. The Triple Bypass can drop with additional modifiers that can buff Damage, so farm for a Triple Bypass that comes with a variant that works for you, and keep healing to indulge in the temporary buff that replenishes super fast.
War Paint
How to Get War Paint in Borderlands 4
- How to Get: Farmed from the Meathead Riders (Saddleback & Immortal Boneface) located in “The Old Scrape” Ripper Drill Site in Cuspid Climb, Terminus Range.
- Chrome – On use, grants +30% Fire Rate and +30% Movement Speed for 15s, and reduces Repkit Cooldown by 2s each time Damage is taken.
War Paint is easily the best Repkit in Borderlands 4, and players should farm it for a multitude of reasons. Most importantly, is the special effect that it comes with. Every time you use the War Paint Repkit, you have 15 seconds of +30% to Fire Rate and Movement Speed, which makes some builds enter DPS heaven, especially weapons that rely on an already fast fire rate, like Vladof builds, Heavy Weapon Ordnance builds, and other guns. Being able to pop one of these and melt a boss within 15 seconds is why the War Paint is so essential, and the healing output is also nice, especially when players are getting a Repkit back rather quickly, since taking Damage reduces the cooldown time by 2 seconds, each and every time.
